Choice of platforms
Platforms refer to the base from which denominations, individuals, and Christian organizations can launch new church planting projects among unreached communities. Church planting can be initiated out of the following platforms:
Church-Based
Encouraging existing churches to plant daughter or satellite churches among an unchurched community in proximity to their church.
Individual & Home Based
An individual launches a new church from his home.
Seminary Based
Encouraging seminaries and Bible institutes to include practical training on church planting in their curriculum. Further, to ensure that they graduate students who have initiated multiplying churches and are passing on their training to next-generation student pastors.
Training Center Based
We use this method where there is a need for many new churches among unreached people. The missionary or pastor leaders select a group of potential multiplying student pastors, whom they train and supervise as these recruits plant new multiplying churches.
